Torrey Pines is one of my absolute favorite locations in all of San Diego County. The trick? Pay the entrance fee to Torrey Pines State Park and drive up to the top of the cliffs. Park up top and take the beach trail down to the beach. You won't regret it! Sure, it may be a bit of a hike, but it's so worth it, and the views on your way to and from the beach are breathtaking!
Note: the beach is only accessible at low tide!
